Surprise Thursday!

I have a regular customer who comes in several mornings a week for coffee. He's an older semi-retired gentleman, an we also spend some time talking. He's really super nice. He always gives me a little tip, and the week before Christmas he kept tipping me $2, which is more than the coffee he pays for.

Well, he switched to a subway re-loadable card, and doesn't always have change on him for a tip now. Which doesn't matter to me, we don't really get tips at subway anyways. But today he came in and said "I didn't tip you the last few times, so here you go" and hands me a $25 gift card for Boston Pizza.

"Go out and have a nice dinner with you boyfriend, and enjoy the evening"


WOW! Super generous! And it certainly makes up for all the crappy customers who come in!
