So, not much to update. It seems like this is not an uncommon problem and can be solved with some paper work. What we don't know is how long it will take. We've been told we should go see an immigration lawyer, which we are looking into this weekend. Our hope is that they can get it reversed somehow so that Stephan will be able to work while we are waiting on the LMO to come in (which would in turn complete his application! yay!).
On the plus side, his work has been very supportive. He still has a spot with them, and they are working hard to help sort this out for Stephan. They say its not fair that he should worry about losing his job, since it was THEIR end of the paper work that caused the problems. They really like Stephan, and they are really pleased with his work. And rightfully so...he's one of the only ones in the company with the proper qualifications and he's a hard worker who does his job right. They want him to be able to return to work as soon as possible.
That's all there is for now....I guess we'll know more next week after we get things going with an immigration lawyer.
