This Friday was the first Friday I finished work at 7pm! And what a difference that extra hour makes. I got more time to spend with Stephan, and with our friends at the German Club. I was also able to order from the restaurant before it closed, and got a bowl of spaetzle and gravy which I had been craving all week.
Saturday I got up to make pancakes, since we hadn't had them in a few weeks. We got dressed and headed out for an appointment, and then ran some errands. We grabbed groceries, and some movies for the night and when we got home I made a german cheesecake. We had a nice dinner and then spent the night watching movies.
Sunday I had church, and then we headed out to High River. We were invited over for lunch at some friends' from church. We had a really good time, just hanging out and talking. It was a great way to spend the afternoon and the afternoon flew by! Around 7pm, we decided to head home before it got dark, and we finished watching another movie.
All in all, it was a great and busy weekend!
