Flower Friday
Because flowers always brighten up anyone's day, and because I'm hoping it will brighten mine, here is this Friday's flower pic. And today, I'm gonna give you two:

Flower Friday
So I'm back to posting my flower pics, but I moved it to Friday for several reasons:
1.) Flower and Friday start with the same letter....if ya didn't know, now you do!
2.) I'm lazy on Fridays because its the end of the week and I'm tired.
3.) Just because I can

So here's your flower pic for the week. When my parents were here my mom brought me some pics from my old garden at their house. This year, the bell flowers just bloomed like crazy! Which is nice, because the first 2 years the rabbits kept eating them. So I'm glad to see them looking all pretty and bell-like :) (they are the white ones, if you were wondering....)

Flower Thursday
Like I mentioned last week, I am moving this post over to Thursdays. I am going to find something to link up with on Wednesdays to take its place, since there are more people doing "themed" posts on Wednesdays. Makes more sense this way. I just haven't decided what I want to link up with yet.
So here is this week's flower picture:

Flower Wednesdays
I'm linking up with Vanessa for her Flower Fridays. Now, I am choosing to do them on Wednesdays as Thursdays and Fridays I work two jobs, and Fridays especially are very hard for me to get on to blog. I only have about an hour between jobs, and then usually head to the German club straight after the 2nd job for the remainder of the evening.
So, it will be Flower Wednesdays for me. I chose to make this one of my weekly posts as
This week I chose to do a picture. I took this picture on our trip to the Calgary Zoo in the greenhouse area.
So, it will be Flower Wednesdays for me. I chose to make this one of my weekly posts as
- I love flowers and have hundreds of pictures to share.
- I also did flower arrangements for my church, like Vanessa, when I was back home in Ontario.
- I figure flowers always brighten up a day, so why wouldn't pictures of them help to brighten your day?!

I LOVE CHRISTMAS!
Today is the 7th, which means its the time of month I get to buy flowers again! This month, it being Christmas and all, I bought some poinsettias.

Also on the Christmas topic...my Mom's Christmas village is done being set up...what my dad would let her set up anyways. He totally bogart-ed the Christmas village and barely let my mom do anything. And he tries to claim he's a scrooge. DENIAL DAD, DENIAL! (Me and Mom were making fun of my Dad, over the phone, for being a fake scrooge. Dad was in the background denying everything and threatening to take away my Christmas presents, haha!!) Anyways, my dad still wants to build the stone steps up to the church, but other than that it's done.
Take a look:

This weekend, we get to go pick out our tree! Stephan finally convinced me to get a real one. I'm so excited to decorate my-first-ever-very-own-Christmas Tree!!! YAY!!

crazy busy
Stephan comes home tomorrow...I may or may not have to pick him up. The rest of the crew might finish early and so Stephan would be able to drive home with them, if not...I have to pick him up in Sundre. I won't know until late tonight, which means that in case I am driving all day tomorrow I need to bake my cheesecakes for cousin Johnny's birthday tonight, after I get home from piano teaching at 7:30. Late night for me!
On top of that, last week I decided to do a couple of projects for Christmas and I started them this week. I've decided to do some scrapbooks on our lives out here in Calgary for those missing out on it back home. I'm dong 4 total (all the same): one for Omi, Grandma, Stephan's dad, and Stephan's mom. Then I've also decided to cross stitch a quilt for Stephan's baby nephew. And I have to have it done all in time to mail by beginning/middle of November. YIKES! I spent last week and the beginning of this week gathering supplies, and then I've been up late every night working on my projects...I'm slightly addicted to my crafting right now. And that is how I will be until they are all done!
Yesterday was the Hab's season opener against the Leafs...they lost. I didn't see it, I was working. I most definitely taped it though!! (I know, I'm sad...I don't care) and will be watching it tonight to see how they did and where the problems are.
Yesterday was also the 7th, which means time to buy flowers again!! YAY!!! Look, so pretty!

I can't resist Lilies. They are one of my favourites.
P.S: 7 more sleeps until our trip to Waterton Lakes Provincial Park. And 1 more sleep until Stephan comes home!! YAY!!
