Look what I got!

I went to the dollar store today in search of little containers to store and organize my bags of spices, so they wouldn't spill everywhere in my cupboard. Just plain plastic containers, nothing fancy.

And instead, I found these.....

aren't they the cutest?!!

Now if only I had a label maker, instead of having to make them by hand...it would look so much nicer!!

weekend recap

I swear, March has just been crazy! I feel like I am forever behind, and not able to stay caught up on anything! Hence why I am writing my post so late at night.

Friday was my last Friday working until 8pm. One of my piano students is leaving, and after she leaves I am cutting my time off at 7pm. Which gives me one hour more. One hour may not seem like a big difference. But now that Stephan is back to work and only home on weekends, it is a huge difference in the time we get to the German Club (I'll get there before the restaurant closes and will be able to eat!), or if we want to go see a movie. This Friday, we headed out to the German Club as usual. One of the girls was back from a trip, and I was really happy to see her.

Saturday morning Stephan ran out to get us breakfast from the Edelweiss store...fresh German pretzels and buns! YUMMY! I did some cleaning and we got laundry going, and then we headed to the mall. I had seen a dress I wanted at Smart Set, and had counted what measly tips I get from Subway and had enough for the dress. I wanted Stephan to come along to give me his opinion. Don't be fooled...the dress is not grey, it is like a dusty green. Its really nice! I thought it was grey...until I got to the store.

I also bought this ring, which I am in LOVE with!

We did a few other errands like groceries, then headed home. I pulled some chicken for dinner, since Stephan had requested chicken and mashed potatoes. Then we got a call from Gordie to come over and hang out. I decided to pack up the dinner I was going to make, and it make it for all 3 of us over at Gordie's. We had a late dinner, and watched TV during which I fell asleep. As always.

Sunday was church, and then choir practice. We had a lazy afternoon hanging out, and got some Wendy's for supper. I just can't get enough of their chocolate twisted frosty with M&M's lately!
